This sensor provides wind angle measurements over 360°. With easy installation and removal at the head of mast, it provides a corrected angle with a memorised value of the vane’s mechanical shift (which usually results from an installation at the head of mast). This correction is essential to correctly display apparent wind angle and true wind direction.
This sensor provides:
•true wind speed and angle in knots or metres/second if coupled to the speedometer log,
•air temperature in degree Celsius or Fahrenheit,
•VMG (Velocity Made Good) calculation
•Power supply: 10 to 16VDC
•Power consumption: 25mA
•Angular resolution: 1°
•Temperature measurement: -10°C to +50°C
•Weight: Anemovane: 180g
•Mounting plate and support: 160g
•Bus cable: Ø 5.0 ± 0.3 – weight: 34 g/m.
•Operating temperature: -10°C to +50°C
•Storage temperature: -20°C to +60°C
•Anemovane cable (34 g/m) – Length: 25 m – ref.: 90-60-092
